IUHoosiers.com has more stats from the scrimmage along with some photos. I was going to post up about the kickers but here are the stats on them.
Mitch Ewald was 3-3, connecting on field goals from 35, 37 and 29 yards out. Nick Freeland was 5-6, hitting from 37, 34, 34, 20, 28 and 23. Mick Mentzer broke through to block Freeland's only miss. The other kickers missed all of their field goals.

Can we please get Ewald to kick field goals!!!!! Freeland has too many blocked
ReplyDeleteAfter watching both of them for a while now I feel like Freeland has showed he has more strength but is less accurate. Ewald gets the ball through the uprights it just might not go 15 yards through the uprights. It seems like the competition is in a dead heat and will be interesting to see how it plays out. We definitely need to kick the ball better than we did last season.
