Notes from East-West Shrine Game

Compliments of ESPN blog on Rodger Saffold during the game:

"East OT Rodger Saffold (Indiana) is doing a great job of setting the edge. As he has all week in practice, he is showing good feet and good technique. He's helping give Northwestern QB Michael Kafka time to throw the ball.

Indiana OL Rodger Saffold has shown he can overcome a lack of prototypical build for an lineman. But we've been impressed with his feet, his ability to protect the edge and how he's been sliding and mirroring defenders. He's done a good job using his hands and playing with leverage. One more thing that has stuck out as well is his ability to play in space. He displays above-average athleticism for the position."
