Former AD finds new job

Former Athletic Director Rick Greenspan has found a new job with Rice University. Link

"We talked to dozens of people who know Rick well — members of the NCAA, conference commissioners, coaches, trustees — and not a single person who is familiar with his experiences at Indiana and West Point had anything but the utmost confidence in Rick’s honesty and integrity," Forman said. "The committee felt that Rick will be very effective in leading Rice athletics in a way we can be proud of and enthusiastic about."
There’s no disputing Greenspan is a proven fund-raiser. When he arrived in Bloomington, Indiana’s athletic department was facing a multimillion-dollar budget deficit. Under Greenspan’s four-year watch, however, major renovations were completed at Memorial Stadium and Assembly Hall, the respective homes of the Hoosiers’ football and basketball teams. And Greenspan’s six years at West Point were spent upgrading virtually all of the Cadets’ athletic facilities.
